About St. Patrick's Day

Last year, I read St. Patrick's Day in Easy English News, but I forgot all. On 1st March, 2011, I also read St. Patrick's Day in Easy English News, but I forgot too except one. Irish immigrants brought it and America people enjoy that day by wearing green. The day before that day, my daughter said that if you don't wear one small green item at least, you might get pinched from someone. So, today, St. Patrick's Day, I brought the green bag and I learned about  St. Patrick's Day in more detail. But I couldn't describe  St. Patrick's Day to my classmate. And for don't forget  St. Patrick's Day, I want to try to write everything about it.

 1. When was Saint Patrick born? He was born in 385.
 2. When did Saint Patrick die? He died on 17 March, 461.
 3. What was he known for?
St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, used shamrock to teach the Irish people about the three parts of God in one: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He taught Irish people about Jesus Christ. and took care of Irish. Today many people wear a shamrock design on  St. Patrick's Day because it is supposed to bring good luck.
 4. What is a patron saint? He was a Patron Saint and Apostle of Ireland.
 5. Why do people wear green on Saint Patrick's Day?
Green symbol is Irish color, green shamrock, green emerald, bring good luck, burning green leaves make a good soil.

Leprechauns are tiny people, very smart, full of tricks and live in the woods where gather gold and bury it.
